With more than eight years as a senior marketing leader and more than 15 years in marketing, Katherine is a proven leader who has worked in B2B, B2C and B2B2C organizations. Previously, she was the chief marketing officer of Certificial, CoverHound, and CyberPolicy – all insurtech startups where she played a central role in brand development and growth.

While CMO at CoverHound and CyberPolicy, Katherine was instrumental in the two companies being acquired by Brown & Brown, Inc.(NYSE: BRO) in November 2020. Additionally, she formulated and implemented the marketing plan to drive sales of SMB insurance through key branded partnerships with the National Association of Realtors®, Fifth Third Bank, and BBVA Bank. She is adept at spearheading the development and execution of strategic marketing plans, including branding, growth initiatives, and paid media campaigns.

Katherine is experienced in building and executing omni-channel marketing strategies that leverage efficient multi-channel digital acquisitions, traditional offline marketing, and successful communications strategies to support and enhance the overall strategy and positioning of products or companies at various stages.

Based in Charlotte, Moura joins the growing team of Propel CMOs located in Des Moines, Dallas, Columbus, and Seattle.
